Progressives Launch Revenge on Applebee's as Company Downsizes in Response to ObamaCare
Look, I wrote about this yesterday.

The business community's had the writing on the wall for sometime. The election simply cleared up the uncertainty in the decision-making environment. Gateway Pundit has the video, "NY Applebee’s CEO Zane Tankel Says He Won’t Hire Because of Obamacare (Video)."

And taking their go-ahead from the Thug-in-Chief, the progressives have launched retaliatory attacks. At London's Daily Mail, "Calls to boycott Applebee's after CEO threatens hiring freeze and layoffs over Obamacare."

Boycott Papa Johns. Papa lives in a castle with a private golf course and is now saying he can't afford to pay health care for employees.

Yesterday Twitchy reported that the unhinged Left was targeting Applebee’s because one monstrous franchisee may implement a hiring freeze to deal with the financial realities of Obamacare. Today, the target is Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter.

Move over Chick-fil-A, fast food is getting political again.

Papa John's came under fire this week when CEO John Schnatter floated a plan to cut worker hours to reduce spiking employee health care costs under the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

Now, Applebee's is being boycotted after a major New York area Applebee's franchise owner Zane Tankel threatened a hiring freeze and possible layoffs as a result of the president's healthcare plan.

1. How can one boycott establishments you never frequent anyway?

I don't eat at any of those places.

3. One can speak out against these companies and corporations and encourage people to...

boycott them without having to use, like or dislike their products.

4. go to their website and find the feedback option ...

mention to them via whichever option there is that you will no longer frequent their establishment, and exactly why. Nationally.

I wonder how many of those RWers who "boycott" the "leftie" types actually ever set foot in those establishments, let alone spent money there ...

6. You may not eat at them, but other people that may stay away because of the actions of owners and

management may if they had facts. I seldom eat at either place, but have eaten at Applebees and bought a Papa Johns pizza. I may have stopped into an Applebees while on the road, I will research other alternatives now so that I can avoid Applebees or other like establishments.

2. The CEOs of these companies should hand over their millions to the workers

if they live in castles then they should be made to live in an ordinary home.

5. The fact that they pay so little in taxes and live in such luxury speaks volumes.

8. I wouldn't favor taking their property. I do favor them supplying good health care to employees and

them paying their fair share of taxes. Living in an enormous house, if I had the money for one, is not for me, I even hate staying large hotels. But if other people want big places, I am ok with them having those places as long as they pay their fair share to society. People need to separate a person having assets from a person being a bastard, there are many good rich people and there are many rich bastards. The Papa John's owner is an example of the latter.

14. Big houses that are worth several million should be taxed more

I know there may be an old lady in a an old mansion that may only be worth $500,000 but it is the mega rich we need to go after.

9. The guy that owns the massive home is the owner of Papa John's.

The guy contributed heavily to Mitt Romney and appears to be a doctrinaire bastard.

12. Karma...reincarnation based on morality...that keeps me somewhat sane in these matters.

After I read the fascinating Egyptian Book of the Dead, it all made perfect sense. Nobody gets away with Anything. When they die, they seek their former level of moral development for rebirth...and have to come back to face the music.

That is, IMHO, the real message of Do Unto Others ... because it is highly possible the others will get many opportunities to similarly ... Do Unto You. Not out of revenge or a vengeful god ... just Cosmic Blowback.

But we don't have to eat his pizza, either.
