Since the election, how many "friends" have you lost on Facebook

...because either you dropped them or they dropped you.

I had to drop 4, and they're all from rural areas.

The next family reunion should be "interesting."

1. 14 and counting

I need one bullshit-free area in my life, so I'm ditching everybody who can't quit bitching.

2. None, but I have a few more quiet ones now!

All my real friends are still gloating, the red part of my family "friends" have fallen rather silent on politics

3. You are not "dropping" them...

Next time you see them, buy them a drink and inform them that you are simply returning your relationship to its "pre-facebook" status, you know, back when you didn't suspect them of being such a horse's ass. It's really better that way. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, while open asshattery removes all possibilities of that.

6. One Facebook Woman from Texas

"There is no War on Women". I numerically listed the number of things and she has stopped talking to me since that.

7. One

One, but it was him blocking me. I don't post political things on my Facebook - however, on election night I posted for each marriage equality win. He's a homophobe and couldn't handle it. Oh well, I dont need people like that in my life.

10. Zero.

The political disagreements among my friends tended to be between Democrats and those farther left, and they generally stayed civil.

11. None, I wanted to keep them around until after Obama won.

It was pretty good to read about their despair Nov 7th.

12. Zero, not even the freeps...

...despite the level of passion in the argument, we always managed to keep it respectful and hate-free. I know one guy who's been silent since Tuesday, but most of my crowd was already for Obama or undecided. I know for a fact I swayed many of these.
