37. I was so mad when the Shrub got in, I yelled at the TV everytime he or Cheney were on...

But I had a friend who went a bit further.

He mooned the TV every time they appeared.

His wife had to keep the living room curtains closed whenever he started watching.

53. Ahhh, fond memories

One of the few laughs I had during the GWD era was the thread here where folks detailed their various methods of dealing with the stress of having Dubya appear on the tv screen.

Mooning was one. Screaming, cursing, throwing the remote, wearing out the remote in an effort to silence him and his minions....

52. I needed lots of super glue during Shrub's time.

My aunt broke I don't know how many remote controls and other various objects around her hurling them at the TV anytime Shrub came on. Not only that, I learned that you can string many cuss words together that I had never heard spoken (shouted) together before.

I just always turned the channel when Shrub came on, lol. I couldn't stand even the sight of his face if the volume was muted.

I covered my eyes for a while. Can't stand that man. He does not know how to tell the truth. He did look a bit sick or maybe he was feeling bad about all of the lies he has told.

What I really need is a way to MUTE half of the TV. My hubby won't (wouldn't) watch the debates because he gets nauseous whenever Rmoney speaks. So, for his health's sake we had to keep the TV turned off.

57. OMG, that is great! I have to admit, I take the coward's way out and let the DVR start taping. I let

it get pretty far ahead. Then, whenever Mittwit speaks, I fast forward. I just don't need to hear his lies and arrogance. He revolts me and angers me and I end up with high blood pressure and nausea. And I end up hearing most of that anyway when I watch the commentary and read about it later.
