1. That is a really important number.

Assuming that the poll plunge was driven by debate one, this could be huge.

4. 67 million or so.

Now that the baseball playoffs are in full swing (pun intended), last night's audience was especially impressive.

5. I believe down a million or so from the first debate

But, combined with the great performance from Biden last week, Obama is getting some of his mojo back. As long as he can try to get what he had back, if next week ends up being more of a 'draw' he can still eek out an election victory.

3. Yay! I must say that others more objective may not see it as the slam dunk we do...

I'm not objective. Still, it was a GREAT night to have over 65 million viewers! Who would've thought the SECOND debate would draw that big a crowd????

7. Almost as many as the first debate...

That one was 67 million.

Personally, I doubt we'll see a bounce as big as the last time around. Although Romney got caught out on a number of flubs, made a fool of himself, and generally got dominated by the President, he (unlike Obama in the first debate) didn't back down or look listless, and kept repeating his own content-free talking points without apology. For some people, that will count as "leadership" and his talking points as "facts." So, I think a significant portion of those who went "all in" with him after the first debate will stick with him, even if they think Obama was the winner of the night. On the other hand, I would think this would boost the voter enthusiasm of Democrats, and, therefore, move some RVs into the LV category. We shall see...

10. President Obama should get a 5 point bounce from last night's debate.

And we will be able to talk about how poorly Romney lied in his 2nd debate with President Obama for 6 days before the 3rd debate.

8. I loved it and think I might watch it again for fun!

Well, except for the first few minutes of Romney that had me yelling at the tv.

Pretty sizable!
