AP FACT CHECK: Clinton email claims collapse under FBI probe

WASHINGTON (AP) — Key assertions by Hillary Clinton in defense of her email practices have collapsed under FBI scrutiny.

The agency's yearlong investigation found that she did not, as she claimed, turn over all her work-related messages for release. It found that her private email server did carry classified emails, also contrary to her past statements. And it made clear that Clinton used many devices to send and receive email despite her statements that she set up her email system so that she only needed to carry one.

FBI Director James Comey's announcement Tuesday that he will not refer criminal charges to the Justice Department against Clinton spared her from prosecution and a devastating political predicament. But it left much of her account in tatters and may have aggravated questions of trust swirling around her Democratic presidential candidacy.

No Indictment!

Now we can put this behind us and continue forward. This has always been my biggest fear with Hillary being the nominee and now that fear is gone. Lets blow this thing up now!

20,000+ (and growing) "Occupy DNC" protesters have committed to protesting at the convention.

Just a bearer of news here, don't shoot the messenger. I am a Bernie supporter (who will vote for Hillary). But I don't think protesting in the way they are calling for is helpful, at all. I mean, I hope they don't. What I wouldn't mind seeing is the largest silent protest sit in outside that does nothing but send a message. Anything more than that needs to be called off.

If Elizabeth Warren is Hillary's VP...

I hope they run on policies and not a gender ticket. I am all for a woman president, vice president, etc. but in this particular case they need to make policies the focus. An all female ticket is awesome and I will vote for them but I'm afraid it may turn people away if they make gender the main focus. For true equality it shouldn't be about their gender anyways. It should be about their qualifications which they both have and in fact are stacked with MUCH more than Chump. Don't get me wrong, womens equality should be a part of their talking points and their policies but not the main focus. We have some big fish to fry on all fronts.

Guess who CNN hired?

Corey Lewandowski. Yup, that's right. He is now a paid commentator on CNN. What's stupid about it is he is legally not allowed to criticize Donald Trump, his family, or businesses. He is under a confidentiality agreement with Trump. Why in the world would CNN do that? That makes two Trumpites on CNN now (including gag worthy Jeffrey Lord).

Bernie supporters....

As a Bernie supporter myself, I believe we have to get behind Hillary as soon as possible. It's not imperative for the November election that we throw our support behind her because Donald Trump is trashing the republican party and it wouldn't matter which democrat ran against him. He is still going to lose.

It's important we give her our support because she will be working to implement big parts of Bernies platform. We will be electing more representatives and senators and can utilize the DNC AND Bernies network to get the most progressive people elected. She will also be choosing very important SCOTUS judges and we could end up with a 7-2 split in favor of democrats. If we give her our support we can use our voice to stress the importance of picking judges who will overturn citizens united. She has already stated on several occasions that she is on board with overturning that decision.

Another point I would like to make is that Elizabeth Warren truly believes HRC will combat wall street using Dodd Frank, move toward single payer health care, and work on making college tuition free. We all know Elizabeth Warren means business when she talks about breaking up the big financial institutions and holding them accountable. So when she comes out publicly and says HRC will go after them, you kind of have to believe she will. I don't think EW would put herself in a bad position, especially on that issue.

Sometimes it takes big steps to make things happen and this is one of those times. If Hillary doesn't follow through then we can hold her accountable for it later. But at this point in time I believe it is in our best interest to give the lady our support and try to move forward with Bernies platform.

Feeling great about moving forward with Democrats.

I've always been a democrat and after today I will always remain a democrat. The party is surprising me more and more each day. This sit in gives me a ton of hope for our party.

I am a hardcore Bernie supporter. I donated over $500 to him and will keep donating if I need to. I seen a lot of things I didn't like through out the primaries and there definitely were some unfair moments for us. But I believe in my heart that Hillary is going to support Bernies platform. I hope she goes all out and picks Warren for her VP and sticks it to her financial sector donors. She always said they have no bearing on her decisions and that, I think, would be the most efficient way to prove it. I think she may have finally realized that it is stronger for the democratic party overall if she pivots toward Bernies platform instead of trying to court republican voters. You'll see I accused her of that just as recent as yesterday. But today she changed my mind about her intentions. And this democratic sit in on gun control gives me hope we are electing the right people. Now we have to smash republicans up and down the ticket in November.

Lets go get em yall.

Natomas office park asks pastor who praised Orlando massacre to move out

The Natomas office park that houses Verity Baptist Church, whose pastor praised the recent massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., has asked the church to move out.

“We communicated our views to Verity Baptist Church, and while their lease does not expire until March 31, 2017, we have asked them to consider moving out of our business park, and we would immediately cancel their lease without any penalty to them,” read a statement issued by Harsch Investment Properties.

Nearly a thousand people from across California flooded the Northgate Business Park owned by Harsch on Sunday, wielding rainbow flags and megaphones to protest the sermon delivered by Rev. Roger Jimenez the day of the mass shooting, the worst in modern U.S. history. Forty-nine people were killed.

In his sermon, Jimenez told his congregants that he wished the shooter had killed more people in the gay nightclub. He said God had put a death sentence on gay people.

I live here in Sacramento and thousands have protested this church. My guess is that if the church refuses to leave the landlord may force an eviction. The church property is just a couple miles from Sacramento's gay district and other congregations and community leaders are urging the landlord to cut ties. It could be dangerous not only for lgbtq folks if they stick around, it will get dangerous for the church members. I just hope the pastor moves along and leaves the area quietly.
