US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said on Wednesday the House would fund a wall President Donald Trump wants to build along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We’re going to pay for it and front the money up,” Ryan said in an interview with MSNBC when asked who is going to pay for the wall.

“There are a lot of different ways of getting Mexico to contribute to doing this,” Ryan said.

Founding member of the Allman Brothers Band Butch Trucks has reportedly passed away at the age of 69. Trucks’ cousin Lee confirmed the news on Facebook and Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival also announced his passing. Trucks was scheduled to perform at the festival. A cause of death is currently unknown.

Born Claude Hudson Trucks, Butch went on to form the Allman Brothers with Duane and Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley and Jai Johanny Johanson. Trucks would be one of the constants in the band until their disbandment in 2014 and continued playing after that with various projects including his Freight Train Band. Trucks also led the Les Brers project, featuring numerous ABB alumni and put together various Allman-related superjams at festivals like Wanee.

Trucks is survived by his daughter and son Vaylor, who has played guitar with him previously. The drummer is also musically survived by nephews Derek and Duane Trucks, who lead the Tedeschi Trucks Band and play drums in Widespread Panic & Hard Working Americans, respectively.

Spicer said that Trump’s belief is based on “studies and evidence,” but provided none. At one point, he mentioned a Pew study as potential evidence, though the primary author of the study has already shot down suggestions that research supports Trump’s claim.

“He believes what he believes based on the information he’s provided,” Spicer told CNN’s Jeff Zeleny, the fourth reporter to raise the issue Tuesday.

“If he does believe that, what does that mean for democracy?” Zeleny asked.

“It means that I’ve answered your question,” Spicer responded.

“Have you?” Zeleny asked.

In preparation for the inauguration of President Elect Donald Trump, ABC News spoke to his eldest children for a feature that will air on “20/20” and was previewed on Thursday’s edition of “Good Morning America.” One specific question that was highlighted in the preview deals with something that has been speculated about for months. Will Ivanka be acting as the effective First Lady, at least while her stepmother is living in New York through the end of her half brother’s school year?

“I think it’s an inappropriate observation,” she told Deborah Roberts. “There’s one First Lady, and she’ll do remarkable things.” In the clips aired Thursday morning, Ivanka also spoke about her mixed emotions with regards to leaving her business behind while her father takes office.
