Bernie needs 57% of remaining pledged delegates to win pledged Dem delegate count.

Bernie needs 57% of remaining pledged delegates to win pledged Dem delegate count.
Want 57% to be 56%? Gotta win Wisconsin by 48 points.

This New York Daily News interview was pretty close to a disaster for Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders sat down with the New York Daily News editorial board on Monday, seeking their endorsement in the upcoming April 19 Empire State primary. It did not go well for the senator from Vermont.

Time and again, when pressed to get beyond his rhetoric on the evils of corporate America and Wall Street, Sanders struggled. Often mightily. (The Daily News published the full transcript of the interview so you can check it out for yourself.)

NY's $15/hr wage increase follows Hillary's plan exactly.

As she called for numerous times: $15/hr in high cost of living areas: NYC and $12/hr everywhere else: upstate NY. That is literally her plan.

Interesting analysis on the primary race

"Americans are tired of hearing about the damn emails"-Bernie Sanders

And there it is. That's the GOP fodder against Hillary Clinton, some "damn emails". Emails Americans dont give a shit about, easily defended, and likely tossed out.

On the other hand....

Here's the likely GOP fodder on Bernard Sanders that would be run on a 24/7 loop until election day. Cue the ominous voice:
1-Dodged the draft
2-Honeymooned in USSR
3-Praised Fidel Castro
4-Pledged to raise middle class taxes
5-Wrote questionable essays on rape and womens health
6-Calling himself a socialist
7-Voted against bill to rescue US economy
8-Possibly bring up vote against rescuing auto industry (an attempt to siphon off union votes)
9-30 yrs in govt with little to show
10-Collapse of an entire healthcare industry
11-An economy in chaos
12-Weak on foreign policy
13-Weak on National security

Etc
Etc
Etc

Now, if you are like me and not easily persuaded by bullshit republican narratives, congratulations. But the vast majority of America is easily terrified and not only will this be an electoral shellacking, but Democrats downticket will be forced to constantly try to defend those above items which would lead to a downticket disaster.

I have a feeling President Obama, who has 2 daughters and is pro-gun control, might not be thrilled about campaigning for a candidate who voted with the NRA, wrote questionable essays about women, and trashed many aspects of his presidency. (Chalk another one up on that list the GOP will use against him on an endless loop).

Imho, Hillary Clinton is the supremely qualified candidate with the resources and army of surrogates ready to win the White House and take back the Senate.

Just my 2 cents on the horse race. Have a great Sunday.
