Not only was the name hilarious and irreverent, it was a perfect description of the vessel, which sported a chirpy red paint job that belied the serious work it will carry out.
And although the British establishment last week rejected the people’s choice as inappropriate, the legacy of Boaty McBoatface lives on, inspiring the naming of a racehorse, “Horsey McHorseface” and a giant Japanese spider crab christened “Cuddlebug McNope”.
Last month, a British train route from Portsmouth to Waterloo was named “Trainy McTrainface”, much to the delight of commuters.
Now a school in Austin, Texas controversially named after famed Confederate general, Robert E Lee, has called on the public to come up with a new title. Among the front runners? Schoolie McSchoolface, of course.

I really love Cuddlebug McNope.

As octopus prices spiral due to worldwide overfishing, an importer is mislabeling its jumbo squid as octopus to trick consumers, a diner claims in a federal class action.
Luis Diego Zapata Fonseca sued Vigo Importing Co. on Tuesday, "on behalf of purchasers of Vigo octopus products that Vigo had labeled and sold as octopus when in reality the products contained jumbo squid, which is significantly cheaper and of a lower quality than octopus."
The nine-count lawsuit, alleging fraud, false advertising, unfair competition and other charges, contains a wealth of information about the octopus, which, like the squid, is a cephalopod.

I remember trying to tell the manager of a small company I worked for when they got fis instead of scallops with a big price differential. But they didn't care so much, did not come from their pockets, So I put it in a yelp comment, heh.

my department was replaced by H1B visa personnel when I was 58

Hillary Clinton is on record for supporting increasing the number of H1B visas. I never worked again.
I was offered a new position which I did turn down, I was offered a job in India for 1/3 less pay and a lot less benefits to manage the Indian workers that they would have when they moved the IT department over there after they laid off all departments. Did I mention I was 58 with a mother that was ill and depended on me?
