Democratic Socialism

Here, since nobody seems to know what it means.
Busky, Donald F. (July 20, 2000). Democratic Socialism: A Global Survey. Praeger. pp. 7–8. ISBN 978-0275968861. Democratic socialism is the wing of the socialist movement that combines a belief in a socially owned economy with that of political democracy. Sometimes simply called socialism, more often than not, the adjective democratic is added by democratic socialists to attempt to distinguish themselves from Communists who also call themselves socialists...democratic socialists wish to emphasize by their name that they disagree strongly with the Marxist-Leninist brand of socialism.

You are welcome.

Pussy Riot member on Trump: Everyone laughed at Putin too.

For many on the left wing, Donald J. Trump has been the gift that has kept on giving, providing the media with headline after headline of absurd gaffes that, in years’ past, would’ve knocked any potential candidate from the field. Instead, this year has found that the more ridiculous Trump gets, the more responsive his voter base grows. And that’s dangerous — and it always has been. Most recently, it’s lead to the election of Russia’s Vladimir Putin, as Pussy Riot’s Maria Alekhina told the Huffington Post.

Shattering

For Republicans, 2016 will prove to be no normal election, because it will confirm that the new America is here and that the counterrevolution has lost. That is why I expect the result to be shattering for the Republican Party as we know it.
