"Well regulated" my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never focused on all this 2nd Amendment chatter, well ...
not since I fought for stricter gun control after working for
RFK and seeing him gunned down just before his almost
certain democratic ascendancy to the White House.

And we've seen how far that got. i.e. no where. Well,
no where good anyway.

Now, I'm forced to re-examine the 2nd Amendment in the wake
of the Aurora massacre; and for the first time, those two words
"well regulated" kind of jumped out at me ... like DING! DING!

I mean, come on people. If these words "well regulated" don't
at least suggest some kind of controls, if not spelling out in bold
red letters "MUST HAVE GUN CONTROLS" .. I mean really ... I can't
help but think that the Constitutional framers had SOMETHING in
mind, other than what we have now ... which is an ongoing string
of random mass murders by guns blazing psychopaths, with increasing
frequency.

I totally fail to see ANYthing "well-regulated" about that.

And even if contemporary forms of gun controls aren't exactly
what they had in mind, it certainly seems to me to be WAY MORE than
enough of a valid constitutional basis for having some rational controls
in place, to avoid further scenarios like Aurora.

If only we have the will. Let's not blame the constitution. Let's expose
those who are either blind to certain parts they don't want to see, or who
are intentionally obscuring it's intent for personal gain and/or because
they are psychopaths intent on creating bloodshed and mayhem.

If Mittens wasn't running Bain from 1999-2002, then WHO the fuck was????

This question is the elephant in the living room, the question just
WAITING to be asked, to be pushed to the front of the discussion.

I believe Rmoney is lying of course... and to prove he's lying all
an interviewer would need to do is ask him to "prove" what he's
saying by producing documentation of who WAS running Bain.

Surely -- if his claims of being 100% absent and irrelevant are
true -- he shouldn't have ANY trouble finding some documentation
to support that claim from Bain's own records.

Why isn't this question being asked? Or has it and I missed it?

To ACA Mandate haters: I fail to see one iota of difference

between ACA mandate, and the mandated insurance required for driving
an automobile
, not to mention Medicare, which is NOT OPTIONAL. When
I turned 65, they stared TAKING (without my consent) $100 out of my
Social Sec. check. Actually, I don't think I have ANY choice in the matter.

Can any of the whiners about the mandate explain how ACA is any different
than the above two mandates?

Yo! This Romney "Quiet Rooms" quote begs to be an Obama ad.

I can think of no worse gaff to date of Romney's, that is in
the public domain for Obama 2012 to use to bring Romney
down, down, into the gutter where he belongs before Nov.

Romney is relentlessly grilled here by an affiliate of MSNBC's
Lawrence O'Donnell, questioning Romney's characterization
of Obama's position on the economy as waging "class warfare"
against the 1%. Romney totally takes the bait...

In effect, Mitt sez "Gawd forbid we ever actually discuss
the USA's abysmally torturous extremes of income disparity
(USA ranks 43rd worst) in public. These things should ONLY
be disussed in quiet rooms".

HELLO?? If we really want Obama to win, this will become the
sound-bite that bites Romney hard, in the butt, in November.

Bill Maher Asks Joe Biden to Make More 'Gaffes' - LOL

Bill is funny as hell here, I must say ... I agree. Go Joe!!!! Twinkles!!!

Better yet, Obama should take the hint, and start kicking ass on a whole
range of issues, like he's already won the Nov. election, and make it a
landslide.

Bill Maher Asks Joe Biden to Make More 'Gaffes' After Gay Marriage Comments (Video)

When Vice President Joe Biden endorsed gay marriage last Sunday on Meet the Press,
it put into sharper focus President Obama's until-then reluctance to fully "evolve" on the
issue. Ultimately, it mayhave led the president to announce his support for marriage equality
-- a result which has given Bill Maher a clever idea.

“If we want historic change, we can either do it the president’s way, slowly, using cool,
detached reason, or the vice president’s way, quickly using brainfarts," Maher suggested.
Already well-known for his free-wheeling verbal style, Biden, Maher said Friday on his
HBO show Real Time, begin backing other taboo proposals.

"Oh Joe, would you please go on Meet the Press this week and say, 'Should marijuana be
legalized? I'm high right now!" Maher proposed to applause. "Afghanistan? What a s--thole,
let's get the f--k out now! Wall Street bankers? I can't believe we haven't hung any! Global
Warming? That's a big f---king deal, my friend!"

Am I supposed to feel "safer" because a CIA informant's "terrorist plot was foiled" ?

This is even more absurd than the case in Portland OR, last New Years Eve when
a young man was basically entrapped into believing he was being assisted by real
terrorists to detonate a bomb that never really existed except as a random Radio
Shack hodgepodge of wires and batteries.

Here the supposed "terrorist perpetrator" was already ON THE CIA PAYROLL as an
informant, from the very get-go.

Please. How stupid to these people think the public is? These "you must be very
afraid of terrorists" bogus "plots" appear to me to be mostly smoke and mirrors,
and very transparent ones at that.

WTF is up with "Obama's War on Weed" ?? It makes no sense at this point in the game.

Obama's War on Pot
In a shocking about-face, the administration has amped-up a government-wide crackdown on medical marijuana

Obama's war on weed especially makes NO sense in light of recent (within this past week) three very powerful
incidents have occurred -- to give Obama all the cover he would ever need:
1) Jimmy Kimmel's epic roasting of Obama at the recent Press Correspondents Dinner.
http://www.complex.com/city-guide/2012/04/jimmy-kimmel-addresses-marijuana-legalization-at-white-house-correspondents-dinner
2) Nancy Pelosi .. yes THAT Nancy Pelosi came out in favor of medical marijuana being left alone for states to sort out.
http://reason.com/blog/2012/05/03/nancy-pelosi-defends-medical-marijuana-d
3) SCOTUS .. yes THAT SCOTUS (with strong 5/4 Conservative majority) just refused to hear the DofJ's case against
the State of California, effectively upholding lower court ruling against DofJ..
http://www.thedailychronic.net/2011/7350/supreme-court-state-medical-marijuana-laws-not-preempted-by-federal-law/

On the campaign trail Obama made reference to FDR's famous "make me do it" admonition to a black community
leader asking him to support civil rights more vigorously, which took awhile for the forces to gather by which time
John F. Kennedy was President and Martin L. King and Malcolm X were doing just that.

What is is going to take on the Medical Marijuana issue to "make Obama do it"? .. .If the DLC Leadership, a Conservative
Supreme Court, and a harsh public roasting in front of the national press won't do it, what will?

Major FAIL in my book for Obama. He lied on the campaign trail to his base about this and needs to be held accountable.
And EVERYONE seems to know that already except Obama himself. I mean at this point, given this SCOTUS ruling, isn't the
Obama administration acting in a flagrantly criminal manner by squashing states with voter approved Medical Marijuana Programs?
