Today, I was my very own death panel (my Mom)

Decision day. She took out her breathing tube last night. Do we put it back in? She is incoherent and sticking to the bed, she hs so much fluid. So do we insure a few more days or do we make her last days comfortable? I was going to have to make the decision to how much we were going to do in regards to the ventilator but she made that decision herself.

In some ways, I think people no matter what face some kind of death panel. family or otherwise. I think they can keep almost anyone alive but is that all there is?

Very very hard to deal with right now. All alone. my Borther is no help other than give my the weekly attaboy......

White People Stopped By New York Police Are More Likely To Have Guns Or Drugs Than Minorities

During the just-concluded trial on the New York Police Department’s stop-and-frisk program, the city argued that officers’ disproportionate targeting of black and Latino New Yorkers was not due to racial profiling but because each stopped individual was doing something suspicious at the time. The data, however, tells a different story: weapons and drugs were more often found on white New Yorkers during stops than on minorities, according to the Public Advocate’s analysis of the NYPD’s 2012 statistics.

White New Yorkers make up a small minority of stop-and-frisks, which were 84 percent black and Latino residents. Despite this much higher number of minorities deemed suspicious by police, the likelihood that stopping an African American would find a weapon was half the likelihood of finding one on a white person.

Koch Brothers Dump Three-Story Pile of Toxic Byproduct on Detroit

There's a new addition to the scenic view along the Detroit River: a three-story pile of petroleum coke, a byproduct of the tar sands drilling in northern Canada over 2,000 miles away.

Petroleum coke is a byproduct of the refinery process of the tar sands oil, which leaves refineries with a huge amount of the coke after it sends the oil onward. The coke usually just piles up (Canada has 79.8 million tons stockpiled), because it's a dirty, and mostly inefficient energy source. But the industrialist/harbingers of the apocalypse Koch Brothers had a better idea: why not sell this high-sulfur, high-carbon waste to countries that don't care about the environment?

And that's exactly what they did. “It comes down to emission controls,” D. Mark Routt, an energy consultant, told the Times. “Other people don’t seem to have a problem, which is why it is going to Mexico, which is why it is going to China.”

But first it's precariously piling up in Detroit. “What is really, really disturbing to me is how some companies treat the city of Detroit as a dumping ground,” said Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan state representative. “Nobody knew this was going to happen.”

Today was to be the initial kickoff event for the California Cannabis Hemp Initiative 2014, in Weed California, at an event named "WEEDFEST". http://www.weedfest2013.com/ The speaker and all around good guy who is spearheading the campaign, was invited to speak by the promoter of the event, Jimmy Limo many months ago.

The Weedfest is a music fest organized by Jimmy Limo and he asked me to speak months ago about California Cannabis Hemp Initiative 2014! I planned my weekend around it and took off work, etc! Last minute the City said they would pull the plug if i came up and spoke or fine them $5,000!

my speech was going to be catered to a more conservative crowd- pro hemp- pro feedom- pro sustainable energy and not foreign oil wars _Pro- Make America strong by taking back the plant the Corporations took from us in 1937!

Obama denies role in Government

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—President Obama used his weekly radio address on Saturday to reassure the American people that he has “played no role whatsoever” in the U.S. government over the past four years.

“Right now, many of you are angry at the government, and no one is angrier than I am,” he said. “Quite frankly, I am glad that I have had no involvement in such an organization.”
