Incidentally, there's been no communication from Barbuda for several hours
While Trump's estate is fascinating, an entire island has gone silent.
That's not entirely unusual, but since the last report of the roof coming off of the police station there has been silence.

The tiny island of Barbuda, part of the nation of Antigua and Barbuda, has been without connection to the outside world since Hurricane Irma knocked out its communications early Wednesday morning, CNN reports. Infrastructure on the island is "so badly damaged that there is no communication,"

DU is a political discussion forum
This is not Facebook, this is DU.
The reason this site exists - specifically - is for political discussion.
I can guarantee you that if you are interested in doing something productive to aid flood victims, then your posting, or not posting words on the screen in front of you is probably the least productive use of your time.
If you are interested in discussing politics, then you have come to the right place.
If you are not interested in discussing politics, or if your primary interest is in telling other people discussing politics to shut up - then might I suggest you find a website to play with in your leisure time which is not about politics?
Do you go into bars and tell people to stop drinking? Into casinos and tell people to quit gambling?
Discussing politics is what this site is FOR. If you were unaware of that, you're welcome.

Pan Mass Challenge 2017
The Pan Mass Challenge 2017 has raised over $39 million for the Dana Farber Cancer Center, with 100% of every rider-raised donation going to cancer research and treatment.
My friend Elliot and I raised more than $17,000 for our ride from Wellesley to Bourne (84 miles) and then Bourne to Provincetown (75 miles).
I didn't know if I was ready for the physical part of it, but was overwhelmed by the emotional part of it, with cancer survivors and patients turning out along the entire route to cheer us on. The cycling part of it really became secondary...
(on edit: Oh, yeah, and the ride back to Boston was in a league of its own:
