It's not "going down to Conservatives' level" to call them on their hypocrisy.

I'm not asserting that Cruz isn't eligible to run for President.

But I definitely will confront birther Conservatives on why they don't object to Cruz and why they aren't asking for the same level of proof of citizenship if they objected to Obama.

Just like I will question every Republican I see on why they didn't protest against Mark Sanford being elected to congress if an affair was such a terrible thing for Bill Clinton.

It's the hypocrisy.

Netanyahu, Putin, George W. Bush. Appealing to Nationalism, Ethnocentrism and the worst in humanity

still helps you gain power.

Sad.

On Edit: And Republicans admire all three of these folks. Quelle Surprise.

HARLEM — A city-issued violation could force the controversial Atlah Worldwide Church to take down its controversial sign — which often displays homophobic and racist messages — after multiple failed attempts by critics who tried to pressure the church to put a stop to what they called hate speech.

The church on 123rd Street and Lenox Avenue — which is a landmarked building — was hit with five violations Thursday for altering the structure without permits, according to the Landmarks Preservation Commission

Atlah's owner must appear before the Environmental Control Board at 9:30 a.m. on May 4. If found guilty the judge can issue fines until the violation is corrected, Olivo said.

The owner can try to get a permit to retroactively legalize the work that is in violation, she added.

Wow, Nader shilling for Paul and Greenwald calling Reid Cheneylike for wanting peace all in one day

Glenn wrote:

"Ever since 1/20/2009, Harry Reid has read faithfully from the Dick Cheney book of political rhetoric"

Because Reid got after Republicans for trying to sabotage the Iran peace deal.

This week, Ralph Nader returned to the political stage with a new book, Unstoppable, whose triumphant subtitle is The Emerging Left-Right Alliance to Dismantle the Corporate State. To kick off his publicity tour, he has argued that liberals should "definitely" impeach President Barack Obama, abandon the "international militarist" Hillary Clinton, and instead embrace Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) as a possible leader of his dream coalition.

Fascinating. Two folks who DUers frequently argue about. And they have outed themselves here.

Aussie/US group improves solar cell efficiency to capture 40% of solar energy

http://www.juancole.com/2014/12/record-scientists-efficiency.html

UNSW’s solar researchers have converted over 40% of the sunlight hitting a solar system into electricity, the highest efficiency ever reported.

The world-beating efficiency was achieved in outdoor tests in Sydney, before being independently confirmed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) at their outdoor test facility in the United States.

The work was funded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and supported by the Australia–US Institute for Advanced Photovoltaics (AUSIAPV)

“This is the highest efficiency ever reported for sunlight conversion into electricity,” UNSW Scientia Professor and Director of the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) Professor Martin Green said.

We're getting to the point where we might really be able to get most or all of our energy needs from renewables. Combine this with the new household battery from the makers of TESLA and I wonder how close we are.
