Just because you have 3 million more lemmings ready to jump off the cliff with you doesn't mean

you hold the moral high ground to condemn the rest of us. Having a majority of voters does not confer righteousness to your cause. If that were the case, all the vast numbers of people voting for Trump could claim the same mantle.

Three older women in my family are voting for Hillary. Why? I ask. "Because it's time we have a woman president." But do they know any of her policies? No. Not a single one. The matriarch of our family says "they are all crooks anyway. Might as well try a female for a change." "Besides, things weren't so bad when Bill held the reins." And that's the sum total of their logic.

Nevermind for the first time in nearly a century we have a candidate who is 100% behind the "little guy" and cannot be influenced by Wall Street's billions. A man who dedicated his entire life to helping mankind. A man who will actually go down to his last breath trying to fulfill the Obama promises of "real change." Obama turned out to be moderate in so many of his positions. You'll never see Bernie trying to push through a program like TPP. You would never see Bernie appointing the kingpins of Wall Street to his cabinet or singing the praises of Ronald Reagan's leadership or trying to convince us to support fracking or to support the oil industry. Sending us to war would be his LAST choice.

We could have it all. We still might. One thing for sure I will never see a candidate of Bernie's heart or sterling character in my lifetime. NEVER!

So go ahead give a loud WOOPPIE! as you jump off the cliff. Please don't mind if I sit this one out.

you miss the whole point, but why am I not surprised

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.

thanks Betty (my sister is named Betty too)

I watched a live stream of Bernie's Birmingham Rally tonight and have a few thoughts to share:

No other candidate has the depth and breadth of wisdom that exists within the soul of Bernie. Bernie campaigns on a "future to believe in." You can FEEL the PASSION, feel the LOVE, and FEEL the CONCERN he has for his fellow Americans. That's not something that can be faked, at least for very long. When someone is speaking from their heart -- you know it -- you feel it because it resonates in your soul. Bernie has a powerful, unifying VISION for America -- for his fellow human beings. He's a TRUE VISIONARY -- a REAL LEADER. someone we can trust and believe in. What does Hillary preach? More of the same. I'm sorry to say that at times she seems nothing more than just another player in poorly acted political Kabuki theater.

Bernie Sanders is the real deal. Make no mistake about it. Bernie has no need to posture. He sees the truth and he speaks it. He asks us to "think BIG, not small." The status quo teaches to not expect much. Hillary relegates us to mediocrity by encouraging us to think small... to be "reasonable." There is NO reason why we can't achieve our important, lofty goals TOGETHER. Bernie urges us NOT to vote against our own interests!!! If we work together, there is NOTHING we cannot accomplish. WE CAN AND WILL DO IT!!!

In the words of the great Winston Churchill: "Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense."

REMEMBER THIS: “Those that say it can’t be done should get out of the way of those doing it” GO BERNIE!!
