"You have no argument against abortion. Fun fact: If my younger sister was in a car accident and desperately needed a blood transfusion to live, and I was the only person on Earth who could donate blood to save her, and even though donating blood is a relatively easy, safe, and quick procedure no one can force me to give blood. Yes, even to save the life of a fully grown person, it would be ILLEGAL to FORCE me to donate blood if I didn’t want to.
See, we have this concept called “bodily autonomy.” It’s this….cultural notion that a person’s control over their own body is above all important and must not be infringed upon.
Like, we can’t even take LIFE SAVING organs from CORPSES unless the person whose corpse it is gave consent before their death. Even corpses get bodily autonomy.
To tell people that they MUST sacrifice their bodily autonomy for 9 months against their will in an incredibly expensive, invasive, difficult process to save what YOU view as another human life (a debatable claim in the early stages of pregnancy when the VAST majority of abortions are performed) is desperately unethical. You can’t even ask people to sacrifice bodily autonomy to give up organs they aren’t using anymore after they have died.
You’re asking people who can become pregnant to accept less bodily autonomy than we grant to dead bodies.
Also, if you think that the extremely high crime rate and gun violence in the US compared to countries where guns aren't legal for civilians to have isn't correlated to guns, you're an idiot. Maybe if psychos weren't running around shooting up schools with the guns they legally purchased, you wouldn't need a gun to "defend" yourself.
I've had this computer with Windows 10 for about 3 weeks. I really want to go back to Windows 7
Does anyone think there might be a problem with that. I am tired of having to learn new things and every time I get on this thing there is another thing that is messed up that I have to fix or plug in or download or something. Now the pictures place, which I don't understand will not let me send pictures by gmail until I put the program in or some stupid thing like that that I did not have to deal with with Windows

They said Microsoft Edge will work better with Windows 10.
You know all the things you have to do when you get a new computer. I don't feel like using Edge. I'm use to Chrome. Does it make that much of a difference?

So the office bitch, after screwing up so many things for me told me today

I have literally not been treated by the doctor since the middle of December when I finished coming off of the Lamictal and Prozac so I could get a DNA test to see what is the best medicine for me.
I don't know how I can explain the horrible treatment I have experienced from this doctor's office staff but I will try and explain what is going on now.
I came off of Lamictal and Prozac starting the beginning on November so that they could do a DNA test to see if I would be better treated with an ADD drug.
It was scary but I did it. I asked how long the test took to come back and was told 1 or 2 days. So before my appointment in the middle of December I asked if I could come in and just do the swabs so that the test would be there when my appoint came the next week.
So no problem except at my appointment I am told that one of the staff just up and quit and they can't find my test and the company doesn't have it. I am given another test and told that the day it comes in they will call and put me in that day.
A couple weeks go by, nothing. I call last week and I'm told the test is not in. So today, Kismet or something but I mistakenly think I am completely out of Klonopin so I call. I'm told I need a hard copy AND I am told that as of last Friday something came to the office that I have to sign before the company who did the DNA will release my tests. (Notice no one called me to take care of this? But I am supposed to be brought right in as soon as my DNA tests come in!)
She hands me this paper from the DNA company and basically it tells me that Medicare might not pay and I have to sign to agree to pay a mere, "$1,750" if they don't. But I read further and it is saying something about "my diagnosis or treatment history does not meet the current criteria of the Medicare coverage policy for (this company)
So I go back to the desk, in the meantime people are coming and going because this doctor is doing some new things and I guess has a lot more patients, I ask her what she knows about this and after getting nothing from her I ask her for the number to call the company.
I sit down and call the company. I find out that it is not coded right!!!!!!!! So I go up to the desk again with the phone and she takes it an talks to the person and it is fixed in less than 2 minutes. Voila' I don't have to pay $1,750!
But in the meantime, the doctor sticks his head out the door and I tell him about the medication. He says he'll write a partial script.
During this time that I find out that twice I was not called when they were told by the company that they would not continue with my test and no one bothered to call. And during the time I had to figure out by myself what the fuck was going on. And during the time I realized that they have done nothing, zero, squat to help with this test......I am told
"You are in the way of patients" "You just need to leave" "If you don't leave I will call the police" and
"You are scaring me"
(I am a bit loud, not yelling but obviously pissed off and not going to go away like the bitch wanted me to. She said all of this in front of other people)
I am in the process of writing a letter to this doctor.
And so while writing this I look up "prejudice" and 'mental illness" and this is one of the first things I come upon.

The biggest ashtonishment I had while watching the first 3 episodes, because I haven't finished the series and I might not because it just makes me furious is this:
Steven Avery spent 18 years in prison for a crime he did not committ and then when they picked him up for the murder of the woman (forget name) he spoke to the police WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY!
And then his nephew did the same thing!
This is the message I want to get out to poor people in this country. Always ask for an attrorney. You have the right to stay silent!
Just think of what might have happened if both of them refused to talk until they were given an attorney.
OK So I am a white woman. And it pisses me off to no end when I read FB posts or some emails

So I also go to this group to crochet once a week. One of the women I know to be a horrible racist, (who swears she is not a racist). Anyway, yesterday I looked on her FB page and she had one of those "list a bunch of statistics and other numbers and then say something that means nothing because you really just wanted to say that black people are on welfare."
This one was talking about Baltimore and its population being mostly black and how everyone is on welfare and the mayor is black and bullshit some more and then....
"Why do these blacks blame whites for all their people being on welfare?"
Or some fuck crap like that. I swear anyone here that is African American or black I give you credit for dealing with such idiots.
I AM NOT SAYING THIS STUFF JUST TO BRING UP THE FAKE STATISTICS. I GUESS I AM WONDERING WHAT YOU DO IF YOU KNOW SOOMEONE IS RACIST?
This woman also through my mental illness in my face last week when I complained about what she said about the president. She said I went all "bipolar" on her.

I don't understand how the others just stand by and say nothing. I commented under that last racist post of hers that it was sad that she was taught a belief system that guarenteed unhappineess and that it was also sad that she taught it to her children.

Sorry for the upcoming rambling. What can I do to give my money from a family trust to a charity instead of my
instead of my greedy spiteful brother and his family. I have been trying to find out how he got to be the sole trustee and my mother, even though she had a stroke and has trouble speaking is hiding information from me. And at the same time he has set up his wife and daughter on the trust that he alone manages, [I am apparently no longer a trustee] and he is taking money out for himself because he says "It will stop problems after Mom dies....in other words the money she has given me from the trust over the years.......he thinks that money will be deducted and given straight to him as to "make things even"
I do have a disability but nothing that makes mer unable to handle money. I run a house by myself and I used to manage my Mom and Dad's apartment building for many years. When I left my mom continued to give me what I was being given while manager. Until hurricane Sandy demolished them and she only got a small amount for the property.
I am just so pissed off at the way I am being treated. It is not about the money but it might be if this little jack ass Presbeterian minister drains the whole thing. It is so much more about how I have just been cut out of the process and no one will tell me anything. Even at the bank the man said he could not tell me anything about the checking account that now has his wife an d daughter somehow attached to it and when I continued to ask questions he said something about how I just needed to LEAVE!
I de-brothered him several months ago after finally realizing that he ha treated me so poorly over the years because I am bi-sexual. I guess I lived in denial about that for a long time. I remembered asking my mother why she thought he disliked me and all she could think of was I missed his wedding about 30 years ago, (I was very ill with panic disorder and other things at the time.
I know I probably will hire an attorney and spend a bunch of money that I do not have a whole lot of but I also wanted to see if anyone has been in a similar situation or knows about marital and family trusts. The only one that can be changed by my mother is the marital trust. The other one can't. I have no clue how much is in them. And he will not send me any in formation, no statements. He told my mother again to wait until Feb when he comes down and he will talk then but she didn't know or doesn't care that he told me that same damn thing about the last time he was coming down, (paid for by, of courser the trust fund) and he gave me NO statements or anything regarding what I asked for].
I would rather leave money to organizations that do good in this world than to a man who preaches that people are born full of sin and it is justified to ban and shun the GLBT community and refuse to make flowers or a cake for a gay wedding.

You do business with Donald Trump. Donald Trump's brand is bigoted bullying, reckless and explicitly racist at times. Please reconsider your business arrangement and dump Trump!
Petition Targets: Kitchen Aid, Gucci, Nike, Starbucks, Dorya Furniture, Licensees of Trump's Brand (Real Estate)
This petition is targeting remaining Trump business associations:
1) Did you know that many of the Trump buildings are not actually owned by Trump? They're actually owned by other property companies and they pay Donald Trump to license his name and put it on the building. These companies should stop paying Trump to use his name and remove his name from their buildings.
2) Over the years, Donald Trump has bragged many times that Gucci and Nike placed their flagship stores in Trump buildings. He's very proud of these stores and these business deals. Donald Trump uses Gucci and Nike's brand recognition to legitimize his bigoted bullying. Gucci and Nike should no longer allow Trump to do this. They should reconsider their business deals with Donald Trump and begin exploring relocating their flagship stores.
3) Starbucks has coffee shops in Trump properties. Trump's brand is wildly inconsistent with Starbucks' brand. Not only that, but recently Trump actually called for a boycott of Starbucks, claiming that Starbucks was engaging in a war on Christmas. Starbucks should reconsider its business arrangements with Trump and pursue relocating those stores,
4) Kitchen Aid is the named sponsor of the PGA Senior Golf Championship. Donald Trump spent many years lobbying for a major golf tournament and was awarded the 2017 Kitchen Aid PGA Senior Golf Championship. Trump is very proud of this. Kitchen Aid should not allow Donald Trump's dangerous bigoted bullying to be rewarded. Accordingly, they should push to move the tournament to another location (as many less prestigious golf events have already done).
