About Me

I'm a human being. Still have a few good years in me, yet!

Well, your assertions about me are not accurate.

I believe in fairness, and I believe in "live and let live."

Which religion IN THIS THREAD wronged anyone? The Bahai scientist on the Mars team? The shi'a guy driving the robot, of Iranian descent, with the Mohawk? The guy who said the "G" word?

Why be shitty by eagerly chiming in on a snarky (and most importantly, not even original) post, when no one has affronted you? Pre-emptive strike, just in case? What?

Live and let live. Don't look for affront, because if you look aggressively enough, you're likely to find it.

I absolutely DO call out religious idiots, and I do it on a regular basis.

Fair is fair. Try it sometime.

Counselled? Demoted? Opted for early retirement?

A "lieutenant" of campus police is rather like the "captain" of the Good Ship Lollipop, IMO.

It's a title.

We'll not know the full story unless he tells us I guess.

I do have a very clear understanding of what you wrote.

You want to drag women into this discussion, and scold them, and create an equivalence, when the crime under discussion was committed by men, against a man, and the people laughing and joking about it are also men.

You want to "pre-crime" the women--well, they just MIGHT laugh about it, because someone did once before! A pre-emptive scolding is in order!

Why not just click on over there and straight up tell the men in the thread in question that you don't like their specific behavior, instead of doing the broad brush/collective guilt thing over here in the safety of Meta?

Confrontation from a distance is lame. So's scolding people who didn't have a thing to do with the thread.

OMG this reads like a horrible scene from an unfunny film full of overblown

stereotypes!

The original source has pictures (not salacious) but I can't help but note that no one says what happened to the squeezer in this scenario--no comment about arrest or anything like that:
