Looks like campaign sign vandalism is going to be big again this year

Ours was destroyed in broad daylight.

How sad it is that you can't stand to see a campaign sign in someone's front lawn.

I have been out doing canvassing and it's not a sure thing people

If you have not volunteered, you need to do so.

I knocked 8 a lot of doors the last two weekends and the responses I have been getting is not a sure thing. The right wing and media smear campaign has really caused negative opinions out there.

Everyone I talked to except 1 person said there was no way they could vote for Trump, they just weren't happy about Hillary.

In the end, I was able to at least carry a conversation with many of them and provide them with some literature. Hopefully I made a difference.

Here is my point: We all need to get out there, knock on doors or make phone calls. Even if you don't live in a swing state you can make calls in these important swing states.

We have to make sure Hillary wins this thing, we cannot allow Trump to become President.

A taco truck on every corner? The economic implications are huge

Assuming three people work in each truck, the scenario a Trump supporter laid out would create 9.6 million new jobs

Taco Trucks as part of the GOTV campaign

We need to employ taco trucks and station them just down the corner from voting places. Tacos for Hillary!

While we are at it lets get all the ethnic food trucks we can round up and make it a food truck bonanza on election day.

A Candidate’s Death Could Delay or Eliminate the Presidential Election

The presidential election could be delayed or scrapped altogether if conspiracy theories become predictive and a candidate dies or drops out before Nov. 8. The perhaps equally startling alternative, if there’s enough time: Small groups of people hand-picking a replacement pursuant to obscure party rules.

The scenarios have been seriously considered by few outside of the legal community and likely are too morbid for polite discussion in politically mixed company. But prominent law professors have pondered the effects and possible ways to address a late-date vacancy.

“There’s nothing in the Constitution which requires a popular election for the electors serving in the Electoral College,” says John Nagle, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame, meaning the body that officially elects presidents could convene without the general public voting.

“It’s up to each state legislature to decide how they want to choose the state’s electors,” Nagle says. “It may be a situation in which the fact that we have an Electoral College, rather than direct voting for presidential candidates, may prove to be helpful.”

So the real question here: Why is this article showing up now? This election? What do they know that we don't?

Just found it a strange article given the rhetoric that has been tossed around by one side in this campaign season

Thank you admins

50 Least Powerful People in the World

A lucky few possess great fame, wealth, and influence. Even fewer manage to hold on to these positions of power without mishap. Such great heights are often quite perilous, and for every large-scale success, there is often an equally epic fall.

24/7 Wall St. compiled a list of 50 well-known individuals around the world who have recently experienced a precipitous loss in stature. These individuals, be they influential political figures, powerful executives, or successful athletes, have each fallen a great distance from their peak — some by their own doing and some as a result of circumstance.

A lucky few possess great fame, wealth, and influence. Even fewer manage to hold on to these positions of power without mishap. Such great heights are often quite perilous, and for every large-scale success, there is often an equally epic fall.

New Rule: Don't make any loud noises in airports

Due to the gun culture in the United States, everyone will be required to maintain silence while moving about the airport. And for god sake, don't drop anything on the terrazzo floor for fear that it will be mistaken as a gun shot and will trigger mayhem and hysteria among the paranoid travelers.

You would think with the numbers of gun owners in the country, we would be able to distinguish a gun shot from a chair falling over or someone dropping their bag.

Karma Strikes Back: Breitbart Poll Has Trump LOSING To Clinton

If the Trump campaign was looking for a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to polling data, they are now discovering that light is indeed a freight train headed right at them.

A new poll from Breitbart/Gravis Marketing shows that Trump is also losing to Hillary Clinton, by one point. A week ago, the same poll had Clinton winning by five points, so the Breitbart team is trying to spin this as proof that the gap between the two candidates is narrowing. But given that the survey’s margin of error is 2.5 percent, Clinton could actually have a 3.5 percent lead, negating that argument.

The real irony lies in the fact that Breitbart, which is where current Trump campaign CEO was formerly employed, is indicating exactly what all the other polls are: That Clinton is ahead across the country, and has leads in all of the major battleground states, ranging from Florida to Ohio. She is also tied or ahead in traditionally Republican states such as Arizona, Georgia, and Utah.

Democratic pollster Peter Hart said yesterday on “MTP Daily” that he expects the popular vote to be close–2 to 3 points–but that it seems likely Clinton will win a decisive electoral victory come November.

I registered 5 people to vote tonight!

We went to high school football game and stood outside as people were coming in. The good news is 90% said they were registered.

The best one was a young woman who just turned 18. She was with a friend who said there was no way she was going to register and grabbed her friends hand and pulled he away. A couple of minutes later the one girl came running back and asked if she could register. She didn't let peer pressure stop her.

There were 4 of us and we netted 10 new voters. It was encouraging that so many said they were already registered. This is a very diverse community both ethnicity and economically.

It always makes me feel good when I can get someone registered. I have done this before and it felt good to get one in an outing but 5 was outstanding for me.

Get involved people, you will enjoy it.
