The fact that "god" and "Jesus" have become cultural dog whistle clubs with which to endlessly bludgeon the rest of us, sort of like how some people LITERALLY have giant fucking temper tantrums if you say "Happy Holidays" to them.

There wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have a SERIOUS fucking problem in this country whereby right-wing fundamentalists almost exclusively of the Jesus Tim Tebow variety have been SERIOUSLY screwing up our collective civic and political life.
