For all those RW'ers who don't trust the government

They sure do trust the information spoon feed them by Prosecutor Bob McCulloch to the Grand Jury.

I see Facebook blowing up with people that have found Michael Brown guilty and deserving of the death sentence he got all based on McCulloch and his friends on the Grand Jury.

No jury trial no justice no peace.

Socialized Health Care

I've met more than one right wing military retiree who defends their government run health care by claiming that they earned it by putting their life on the line.

What's odd is the disconnect. That the citizens are somehow not worthy of the care that they receive yet at the same time they rail against "government take over of health care".

Anyone else have family or friends like this? It's koo koo to me.

According to CBS News tonight...

... we are spending 8.3 million dollars per day in Iraq and have flown over 740 bombing runs since mid August.

But if someone gets help with their health insurance premium via a government subsidy then God forbid.

Veteran's Day reality check

.

http://m.democracynow.org/stories/14771

It was only a couple years ago, Amy, that the Veterans Administration actually started tracking veteran suicides on a national level. But right now we’re looking at at least 22 veterans kill themselves every day. More than two of those veterans every day who kill themselves are Iraq or Afghanistan veterans. Those numbers will climb as those veterans get older. But what that means for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans is that more veterans have killed themselves after coming home from Iraq or Afghanistan than have been killed in combat in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Like Robert Reich just said on Facebook

I’m less worried Republicans will roll back the Affordable Care Act or reduce taxes on the wealthy over the next two years – the President’s veto pen will prevent that – than I am about Obama joining with Republicans to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline, the Trans Pacific Partnership, and the “chained CPI” (that would reduce future Social Security payments). Obama has either sought these in the past or hinted he would, and he (and McConnell and Boehner) will be so eager to show they can work together that these will prove irresistible.
What other bad “agreements” between the White House and congressional Republicans might we expect?

Obama makes me very nervous regarding these three due to his past willingness to "make nice" with the jackalls.

3 billion gallons of oil industry wastewater has been injected illegally into California Aquifers

?1412967071

Almost 3 billion gallons of oil industry wastewater have been illegally dumped into central California aquifers that supply drinking water and farming irrigation, according to state documents obtained by the Center for Biological Diversity. The wastewater entered the aquifers through at least nine injection disposal wells used by the oil industry to dispose of waste contaminated with fracking fluids and other pollutants.

"Reagan for Shah"

My friend went to hear that asshole speak in Eugene OR at a campaign stop 1980. That is what was on his protest sign. It made the front page of the local paper.

13.5 working hours until I retire at 57 years old...

...so now my wife (54) and I can enjoy our hard earned savings! It seems I have been saving and working forever for this moment and it is almost here.

Somebody pinch me.
