In the end, even these popular media figures beloved by Liberals ...

Are multimillionaires ....

They work for oligarchs who control their purse strings ....

Rachel, whom I never watched (I ditched cable news during the lying-cheating coverage during the run-up to the Bush-Gore electIon) suddenly turned about 3 months ago ... It was a huge smack in the face for most fans ... Blatant cronyism at it's its worst ...

The coordination between the super rich media oligarchs and the Third Way Semi-republican leadership of the Democratic Party allows them to control the flow of 'news' ...

It was so blatant ... So boldly in your face ... The corruption has been breathtaking ...

Rachel Maddow is a multimillionaire who cares more for her wealth than what might be best for the hundreds of millions of UNwealthy citizens who need policies that elevate their families ... Not a continuation of the right wing policies that have devastated the middle class ever since Reagan (including Clinton) ....

Obama and Hillary's support of TPP says it all ... FUCK the middle class, and grab everything you can before they figure out how to dislodge us from power ...

Whew! ... Good thing you are here!

Oh .. wait ... No ... I was wrong ...

This is where a normal person would read you the riot act, and perhaps toss some brusque and salty comments your way ...

Me? ... I'm just glad you laid down this ridiculous diatribe, and laid the completely fallacious argument before us ... You are naked to us now ...

And just like that - Gone ... Like a fart in a hurricane ...

I cancelled my previous monthly contribution to the party

And now giving that money to Bernie ...

So you are planning to vote for Abbott?

Interesting ... very interesting ...

You have to admit ..

This OP has a certain kind of stench about it ...

Listening to NPR yesterday, I was simply blown away by Cotton Mather

http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/2012/03/13/148518211/cotton-mathers-kontiki-the-album-that-wont-go-gently

What an extraordinary story .... Writing and recording an album, watching as the sales petered out, and breaking up soon after ...

Some 15 years later; a growing recognition of the album as a brilliant rock masterpiece ... The band, long since gone, is reformed and set to play at SXSW this week .... You cannot make this stuff up ....

And the music ? .... at times, angelic ....

&feature=related

If you are near Austin this week, you should definitely try to see Cotton Mather's show ... (This Saturday at 10:00 PM at the Soho Lounge at 217 E 6th St - http://schedule.sxsw.com/2012/events/event_MS17007)

I love this stuff ....
