Time again for bands you'd wish would reunited and finally do that reunion tour.

Mind you it has to be something reasonable. I mean I'm sure we'd all love for all 4 Beatles to reunite and tour but without John Lennon and George Harrison it does't quite work. Perhaps if only one had passed away like Led Zeppelin (only Bonham is gone) but if 50% or more of the members have passed away then you are't getting a true reunion. You're getting something a Lynard Skynard Tour where one member who spent a few years with the band is still touring under that name even though most of the original members are gone.

Top on my list of course is Led Zeppelin and I want Jason Bonham (John's kid) on drums.
#2 Choice - Talking Heads.

Ok post your choices here.

My review of the 'Today' show after watching Palin for about 30 seconds

Really?

The 'Today' sunk so low I'd have to dig a ditch in the Mariana Trench to reach that level of low.

I guess they were talking about Oprah Winfrey's network and Lauer was asking everyone on the Today show if her network survived. Palin? "Only if she gets some conservatives and true patriots on there!"

Really?

You can't put politics aside for one whole hour, SIXTY FRICKING MINUTES just to try and show the world that maybe, just maybe you are NOT some aging cheerleader right-wing junkie for the GOP?

It's the "Today" show. If anyone wanted that much political grandstanding that early in the morning they'd be watching Faux News. The people who watch "Today" want to see the weather and discussions about amusing personal interest stories along with celebrity chit-chat.

My guess is she's got all those GOP talking points she memorized from her VP debate so deeply ingrained into her brain that if you'd ask her if she wants 'cream with your coffee' the first thing she's blare out is 'god-fearing patriots drink their coffee black because that's what Reagan would do. Cream in coffee is nothing more than that lamebrain liberal media trying to pull one over on us.'

Seriously, Sarah, if you want to be respected by more than then 30% right-wing teabagging nutjobs you need to turn down the crazy rhetoric and act like a normal person.

I didnt' stay on the Today show long enough to see if Matt Lauer popped an artery in his brain from the massive eye-roll he did but I could tell Sherry Shepard was annoyed.

EDIT CORRECTION: That was not Sherri Shepard on the show but Star Jones. My bad.

First Civil Union in Delaware, sermon was done by Senator Chris Coons

First civil union takes place in Delaware

Two women became the first couple in Delaware joined in a same-sex civil union ceremony Sunday during a historic and emotional service at their Wilmington church.

Fellow Delaware attorneys, as well as judges, legislators, friends and family members witnessed the tearful exchange of vows between Lisa B. Goodman and Drewry N. Fennell at Trinity Episcopal Church on North Adams Street.

A friend of the couple, U.S. Sen. Chris Coons, delivered the sermon. During the liturgy, Lt. Gov. Matthew Denn and Superior Court Judge Jan R. Jurden each read from the Bible. Both know the couple from their days at the law firm Young, Conaway, Stargatt & Taylor.

At 10 a.m. Sunday, Delaware’s law adopting same-sex civil unions took effect. After years of debate and hours of testimony in Dover, the General Assembly adopted the measure in April 2011. Gov. Jack Markell signed the bill in May.

Congratulations to this couple and all couples that now can legally wed. Yes, it's only a Civil Union - unfortunately we have DOMA in our constitution. But the law was well written to ensure same-sex couples have all the same rights as heteros. But we'll work on the DE DOMA amendment next!

Edit note: The DOMA would have taken way more time and effort to overturn and gay-rights advocates in the state felt it was best to at least get civil unions passed now while we can and then continue to work to overturn DOMA out of our state constitution. BTW you can thank Christine O'Donnell for this law being passed. She was such poison on the GOP 2010 ticket here in Delaware that we were able to pick up enough state seats to have the numbers to pass this law!
