The very people praising Ryan's "serious" budget are the same that mocked Gore's

lock box in 2000, and praised Bush's 2001 tax cuts that came without any spending offsets.

Where were these people when we had that small surplus in 2000?

Don't fall for their bullshit.

So When Dems Fight Back, The Media Bemoans "Dirty Politics"

I lived through McGovern's, Mondale's, Dukakis', Gore's, and Kerry's campaigns when the Dems "took the high road" when they were attacked by Roger Ailes, Lee Atwater, and Karl Rove. The very same media lambasted the Dems as "weak candidates". Today, when the Dems fight back and don't apologize, the media bemoans the "ugly" campaign season.

The media is still working off an old script of how a Dem candidate should look and sound like. Bravo to Obama and his for not giving the media what it wants. For too long our Dem candidates sought the approval of the media over running a tough campaign. In the end, who gives a flying fuck what David Gergen thinks. Fuck him and CNN.

Can someone check my algorithm problem?

The problem is sum all even numbers in a Fibonacci series whose values are less than 4,000,000.

Here's my solution: (Note I'm not using any specific programming language's syntax, just using general programming logic.)

--On Edit --

You need 4 integer variables: A, B, C, and D.

One boolean variable: E

Initialize them A=1, B=2, C=0, and D=2

E=true

Begin a conditional loop:

While (E)
{
A + B = C
if (C >= 4000000)
{
E = false
break
}
if (C%2 == 0)
D = C + D
A = B
B = C
C = 0
}

End result is D.

Who Will Be The Most Disappointing/Surprising Teams in the NFL in 2012?

By disappointing/surprising, I mean who will exceed expectations and who will fall short of expectations. Here are my picks:

NFC:

Exceed Expectations: Seattle Seahawks. I am picking them to win the NFC West.

Fall Short of Expectations: SF 49ers. This is an easy one. No way the niners duplicate last season.

AFC:

Exceed Expectations: Buffalo Bills. They will get the last WC in the AFC.

Fall Short of Expectations: Baltimore Ravens. They will miss the playoffs.

Red Sox stars blast manager Bobby Valentine in heated July meeting with ownership

Boston Red Sox players blasted manager Bobby Valentine to owners John Henry and Larry Lucchino during a heated meeting called after a text message was sent by a group of frustrated players to the team and ownership in late July, three sources familiar with the meeting told Yahoo! Sports.

Gonzalez and Dustin Pedroia were among the most vocal in the meeting, in which some players stated flatly they no longer wanted to play for Valentine, the sources said. The tenor of the 2 p.m. meeting at The Palace hotel in New York turned ugly almost immediately, according to the sources, whom Yahoo! Sports granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about internal matters.

Maybe the Red Sox should get their own reality show.

Where are the Defense Cuts in Ryan's Budget?

Are there any? Why do we need to spend $700 billion on defense? Who is coming after us?

Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd Finally Correct Joe Scab This Morning

This morning Todd and Matthews finally threw some cold water on Joe Scab's man-crush. Scab has been singing about Ryan for two days and praising him as a serious about the deficit.

First, Todd corrects Scab by saying that Ryan wants tax cuts to go along with the Medicare and other govt cuts, which undercuts his message that he's a deficit hawk.

Second, Matthews chimes in that Paul Ryan is a Ayn Rand acolyte, and that he believes in helping the winners in our society while hurting those that lose.
