"You win."

Can't remember who I first saw doing this here on DU, but a VERY effective way to shut down the pointless non-arguments by certain HRC trolls is to simply post: "You win" or some variation thereof. I'm not suggesting we don't defend Sanders on real issues, but if we refuse to take the more obvious bait and stick to policy we will take the wind out of the sails of the more antagonistic HRC folks. By all means, have your fun, but when TEH STUPID starts to get too thick I'll be handing out "You Win, Hillary is our next President"" like candy....

With a sarcasm tag, but not without it.
Sometimes I have told them that they will get rainbows and unicorns too.
But I am sometimes mean.

We could just STOP FEEDING THEM!

We already know who the biggest trolliest trolls are.

Just stop responding to them. Don't say "you win" and don't argue absurdities.

Just stop and walk away.

Their whole plan is to disrupt and antagonize.

I must have served on four juries quite recently where the Hillarians attacked a reasonable, often poignant comment. Luckily, not one was trashed.

Stay off of their threads.

If you see and recognize the name of an author as a big 'ole troll then just ignore it and let it sink to the bottom.

Let them sink.

Don't even click on those posts.

Apparently if people read those posts DU will mark them as "trending" even if no one rec's them or responds.

I'll ignore them or say "sorry, you lose" and move on, but I'll never say "you win" to trolls. Not gonna happen.

There are times...in Free-for-all-Land GD and GDP...where I want to say something, anything (because you can't argue with them...it's indeed like trying to argue with a troll or Puke or Bagger).

"Yup...you win...best of luck with President Bankster...Full block now in place"

That's what I'm gonna have to go with, at times. What's the max number that we can block as my list is getting big.

and they won't change yours. The ones that you are talking about are not interested in hearing your defense of Bernie, not in the least and your replies only give them the negative attention that they crave and it keeps their OPs alive. Stay out of their threads, problem solved and you come off looking better. Telling them you win is nothing more than continuing the bullshit arguments in a childish way and makes Bernie supporters look childish. Be an adult and leave them alone. You want to talk policy then do it here in the group with like minded people in a positive and respectful way. Pointless arguing gives them the ammunition to complain about how bad Bernie supporters are and that's their main goal. Don't fucking engage them. It's a waste of time and effort.

And by the way, no way in fucking hell will I tell anyone "You Win, Hillary is our next President""

Although I'm pretty confident in her ability to shoot herself in the foot again. Sanders doesn't need to defeat Hillary; she's more than capable of doing that herself. All he needs to do is being a viable-looking alternative for the folks who really aren't that crazy about voting for Hillary, and he's rapidly becoming one.

There are some who want to advocate strongly for their candidate, but there are others who are just scattering flamebait for the lulz or so they can rile someone up and then alert on them. Either way, the shit-stirrers aren't worth my time.

Of course, you could say "I'd love to continue or conversation, but I need to go get a root canal."
