Just sent a comment to HEB grocery stores here in Texas.

HEB is a Texas Based grocery chain.

Seems that Kroger has doubled down on letting people carry loaded assault weapons in their strore so I've shifted as much of my shopping as possible to Sprouts which has a no guns policy. However there are a lot of things that I can't get there. As much as I like the idea of free range organic eggs I can't afford $5 a dozen.

Anyway, I discovered that HEB has a store 15 miles from me. My comment to them follows:

I am looking forward to HEB expanding in the DFW area. I occasionally shop at the Ft Worth Central Market and will begin shopping at the Burleson store. Although there is an Albertsons and a Kroger only a few blocks from me I'm willing to make the 30 mile round trip to shop at your stores. Why? I like HEB's stance on Open Carry of firearms in your stores. If I wanted to see guns I'd go to a sporting goods store. I want groceries, not some nut bar with a loaded assault weapon intimidating shoppers.

Now if you'd just open a store in the property you just bought at the intersection of I-20 and Cooper Street in Arlington I will be able to spend ALL of my $800/month grocery budget with you.

So how anti gun are they? After Sandy Hook they took all the gun magazines off the shelves and if you try to use their wifi to search for gun related topics you will find all those websites blocked.

BTW, Bloomberg and MDA are continuing their push to change Kroger's stand on guns.

They have a microsite here where you can enter the amount you spend at Kroger compeitors here:

So far the total is over a quarter million $.
