what does it mean when someone's reply to me is auto-removed

and name removed? Is that spam that made it through but got zapped? or someone who was tombstoned? or something else?

It could be a random spammer or a troll. If it is "name removed" it was someone with a low post count (under 100) who was removed for one thing or another.
