How do I use imgur.com to post an animated emoticon ? When I use "direct link" the emoticon ...

appears but is not animated. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

1. I copied a DU emoticon to imgur and it seems to work fine.

Perhaps you could actually post the image so people could look at it and try to determine the issue.

2. I want to copy an animated smiley from the site below:

The "winner" smiley is animated. When I try to post it using "direct link , this is what I get:






Used the link ending in gif:



AHA !!! That's it ! I noticed YOUR link ended in gif, so I tried that one and it works !!! THANKS !

3. Did you save it to your computer and then upload it?

I'm not sure how you got that .jpg extension on imgur.

If the graphic is already on the internet, try Upload images from the Web option and you should get an exact copy. Like this:

4. I copied it directly from the website, but I did save a copy to my camera roll. At any rate, thank
