6. Hello everybody

My first post. I would like to introduce myself to this forum. I have lurked here for a while and decided it was time to express myself in a more outgoing manner on the internet. I have learned a great deal from many of the wonderful posters on this site. I am a progressive humanist that seeks a fair and equitable world for all. I vote Democratic however, I am often disappointed and wonder who really supports the common man. I have great optimism for the future of our beautiful planet despite the many discouraging setbacks (pollution, climate change, war, corruption, etc.) over the years. Some have described me as over optimistic yet I have a strong intuitive/spiritual feeling that Planet Earth and her inhabitants are destined to survive and thrive into the future. Part of the great change will require leaders dedicated to the people rather than re-election. I look forward to chatting with some of you. Peace/Harmony/Love to you all.

I know it can be somewhat confusing, but you are posting in the thread of a new member who was banned from the site shortly after joining. I would recommend that you start your own thread in this group after you get the required 10 posts in other threads. That way more people will probably see your introduction.
