Question about donations

I made a donation on July 1, 2012. However, my star membership expiration date shows as Feb.28, 2013. Am I incorrect that donations are supposed to be good for a year?

On edit: I just noticed that two donations made prior to the July 1, 2012 payment are listed as "recurring payments", when, in fact, I have not opted for recurring payments. Coould there be a bug on that page?
