When I joined DU my kids were 6, 5 and 3. They are now 18, 17, 15.

I was 42. Now I'm 54.

Will I be here until I die? Probably--- unless I die prematurely from Skinners Ax.

I know I have a reputation here of being a bit of an a-hole---and much of it is deserved.

But I'm trying everyday to be a better family man, a better friend to my friends, and better virtual man.

But make no mistake--- I hate Republican ideology, and those who spout it. I will fight everyday for equality, A Woman's right to choose, LGBT rights, and for a society that takes care of one another.
