How can you find a particular thread

that you read earlier in the day but now can't find? Is there a special trick? I thought I saw it in the Lounge this morning but now can't find it. I tried google site-searching some things I read in the thread but it's not coming up. It was about authors you'd read previously and are rediscovering.

I usually bookmark things but thought I'd be able to find it again quickly as I usually do, somehow this one escaped me.

The tab is at the bottom of the OP right in the middle. To find it again, look at the top of the page under your profile under "bookmarks."

And I do that all the time, lose track of something I meant to go back to. The result is that I tend to bookmark way too much - which doesn't make things much easier to find again...

One thing I find extremely helpful is Advanced Search. I use that all the time to find something specific, only need a keyword. I also use it to see if something I'm thinking of posting has already been posted, especially in LBN.

I've never used Advanced Search, never really noticed it until mentioned it! Going to use it from now on.
