something that might be of interest from Pacifica tomorrow

As the nation has been shocked by the images of overwhelming police
violence in Ferguson, Missouri and the epidemic of murders by police of
Black men around the country we have also been inspired by the organic
uprisings in response. This Monday August 25th KPFA radio's Women's
Magazine will look at how police violence is not only racialized but is
also gendered. We will talk to journalist and author Thandisizwe
Chimurenga about the racial and patriarchal aspects of police violence,
and to UCLA Law Professor Kimberle Crenshaw about how an intersectional
feminist perspective is missing from the mainstream and left analysis
in these post-racial times. That's this Monday from 1-2pm on KPFA radio
at 94.1 FM or online streaming at kpfa.org and archived at
www.kpfa.org/womensmagazine

possibly she meant to say "so-called 'post racial'"
