1. I just got a chance to watch this

I can tell its older, (early '70's?)but what an excellent analysis

2. It is such a shame that this insight was drowned out

and that so many young women are still being tricked into believing that adopting the objectifying male gaze, submitting themselves to it for approval and advantage, could be in any meaningful way benefciial to themselves or progressive, let alone a feminist act.

Forty years ago we knew these truths. And here we are. Stiletto workouts, pole dancing fitness, etc.

Objectifying yourself is now empowerfulizing. Girls and women are sold this idea that "female sexuality" is what is being reclaimed, when in reality it is anything but.

girls sending naked pictures only for the boys to network them out and use to degrade and humiliate the girl. truly amazing that every parent of a girl have not taught daughters that the boys do not like and respect them. but automatically put them in the category of disrespect.
