1. Stop wasting your time and occupy campaigns and the voting booth.

2. Voting is awesome

but people still have other interests besides voting too. It makes no sense to tell people to stop their volunteer storm relief efforts just because of an election. Working on community projects is no waste of time.

3. 5,000 Occupy and Sandy Volunteers have so far served 10,000 meals

and are working in areas both FEMA and the Red Cross have yet to enter. I'll be sure though to let them know they should stop all that right away.

6. Hey let them starve and freeze until after Tuesday. Don't you have better things to

do?

Thanks Fire for having the correct priorities, human beings. That's what I used to think elections were actually about.

I sure hope the Dem Party is not represented by the sentiment in that comment.

5. Helping people is wasting time now on DU?

Guess what, I can make phone calls for Alan Grayson, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and my own local candidate while at the same time continue to help those in need and who really can't wait until next week to eat or get heat or light or clothes.

I sure hope this is not representative of the Democratic Party now, the Party of the People. We already have one Party that can't waste time helping ordinary people, we don't need two.
