Update: Oakland Police Department/Oakland officials/Oakland's 1% post anti-Occupy flyers around town:

As a reminder, Deanna Santana of Oakland "authorities" just attempted to eliminate the Scott Olsen near-death shooting by OPD from the official report. Watch them twist and worm. And I listened to PunkboyinSF talk on livestream in NYC on S17 about how Oakland received a report that crime was down in the area 19% since the Occupy Oakland encampment had begun, and because that report went against the goals of Quan and Jordan etc., one week later black-clad people joined a march and began throwing chairs through business windows. And OPD had been infiltrating Occupy Oakland from the beginning. See the above link at Occupy Observations for video of two undercover cops unmasked.

If you go to the Occupy Observations link above, please read the letter sent to Quan by Oakland's 1% demanding she do something to stop Occupy Oakland. I'm pretty sure you'll find a similar "voice" as is seen in the "DOOM" flyer.

Fuck you Jean Quan, Jordan, Santana. Go down in history as the hellishly bad people you are. You attacked Occupy Oakland and crime of course went back up. Your actions increased crime in Oakland. It isn't a stretch to imagine that you could have figured out that eliminating the source of low crime might cause crime to return to its original level. You caused a 19% increase in crime in Oakland because you wanted your way. Your way is crime. YOU are the problem and you must all immediately resign and face charges for being traitors to the people and well-being of Oakland. And did I say FUCK YOU? FUCK YOU!

1. It's shameful that the cop who nearly killed Scott Olsen is still being protected by

the authorities. There was a report that an actual journalist had ID'd him a few months ago but the PD and the Mayor's office continue to claim that they are 'investigating'.

That was a horrific night. The kind of night that should never happen in any democracy. The fact that no one died was a miracle and no thanks to the robo cops.

Oct 25th, a day of infamy for the already infamous Oakland Police Department.

2. The police brutality is perhaps not even the worst part. Note that Oakland "authorities" KNEW

there had been a 19% drop in crime during the OO encampment, and chose to continue attacking it. They willfully chose to destroy something having a significant effect upon the crime rate. They literally chose to increase crime in the city. By 19%. Period. They are traitors to the people of Oakland and should be jailed.

3. There really aren't any words to express my reaction to that information.

'Traitor' appears to be the best word to apply to any elected official or public employee such as the police, who would deliberately lie like that, and worse, brutally crack down on a movement that was contributing to public safety so effectively. What is going on in this country? It seems they are 'protecting crime'.. All the reports we hear about crime in DC in Chicago, the huge murder rates, are they just LETTING IT HAPPEN? Why were they not thrilled to see such a big drop in crime? Who ARE these people?

This particular case and the reports of the NYPD scandals where the cops were lying about crime figures to make it look like crime was down, must raise the obvious questions about the motives of these people and until someone proves otherwise, it has to be concluded that THEY are a threat to public safety and yes, you are correct, they should in jail.

I was going to say that this one case in Oakland should spark hearings and investigations, but what entity can be trusted anymore to conduct any investigation that would not be skewed in favor of the traitors? Congress? City Councils? I can't think of one that is working on behalf of the American people.

Oakland Officials Fail to Recognize 19% Crime Drop During Occupy Encampment – Twitter Rant by @PunkBoyInSF

http://politicalfailblog.com/oakland-officials-fail-to-recognize-19-crime-drop-during-occupy-encampment-twitter-rant-by-punkboyinsf/

A collection of tweets put into blog form by @PunkBoyInSF

As I watched @jeanquan aka @QuanFace and @oaklandpoliceca’s chief Goodfella HoJo on the news this morning asking for the community’s help in helping the city with the spike in violent crime and murders, I couldn’t help but think.

Somehow, last year, I have a vague recollection of a relatively small amount of time in #Oakland when the community rallied together, set aside their differences and tried to do this. There was a place that rose as a community center, of sorts, that consisted of people coming together around a common purpose.

A place that empowered the residents to feel like they had a hand in their own future. A place where citizens felt, and rightly so, that they were having a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their neighbors. Part of a phenomena that was having impact on the very structure of our microcosm of society. Even by a firm hired by @oaklandpoliceca and @jeanquan’s office confirmed that, for the ONLY TIME in my memory, crime actually went down by 19% in just a few weeks. Something @jeanquan and @oaklandpoliceca should have been ecstatic about, and worked with to continue to foster. But what did Santana, @jeanquan and @oaklandpoliceca decide was the best response to follow up this report with?
