"Mitty the Moocher"

A parody—

Have you heard about Mitty the Moocher
He’s a first-rate corporate smoocher
He had the “gimme” habit and he had it bad
Let me tell you ‘bout this greedy lad

Ooooo ooooo

He wants to be Prez of the USA
So he can do whatever rich folks say
“Tax us less so we can hire more”
But the jobs go to a foreign shore

Ooooo ooooo

Tax breaks given to the wealthy few
TARP for Wall Street and the bankers, too
Subsidies for the corporate elites
Bonuses for the corporate cheats

Ooooo ooooo

He pays less taxes than the common man
Swag he can hide in a distant land
He took Fed money to save his Bain
But the 99 percent need to feel more pain

Ooooo ooooo

He gave a talk about the “47”
Said all they wanted was a handout heaven
Well, with that comment I’ve got this to say
STFU, Mitty, and just go— a—way—

The original—

[font size="1"]Okay, I confused Cab Calloway’s “Minnie the Moocher” (1931) with Frankie "Half-Pint" Jaxon's “Willie the Weeper” (1927). I realized that part-way into writing the parody, so I just combined the two...sort of.
