The primary game is over! You have been assimilated!

The latest high-level endorsement for Hillary, by the incumbent secretary of transport, is enormous, enormous news. Totally. Unexpected. I can't conceive of how much all-caps and italics could ever do it justice. This. will. SWING this election! Decisively, I believe. This week, everyone will be talking about this, and nothing else. Until their teeth bleed.

In other news, 1.4% of Americans will hear today for the first time that the name of the incumbent Transport Secretary is Anthony Foxx.

Rounding down, 0% of this group will get as far as his Wikipedia page, and learn about his career prior to holding office, mainly as a "business litigator" with Hunton & Williams (your international outsourcing experts, for whenever your friendly mom-and-pop multi-death corporations need to export a few thousand jobs overseas).

That's the kind of simple but forceful title that your true power elite get to hang on their shingle. Lobbyist? Pshaw! This man did it in court! I mean, how cool does that sound? "Tony Foxx: Business Litigator: Washington DC: ESQ." Coming soon to no TV near you.

Surrender the Bern!!!

As you point out, most people won't even recognize the name. I did, though. Attacking Clinton endorsers seems to be the order of business these days. BTW, this news broke yesterday and there is a nice long thread about it. Old news, and not all that significant, really, in the grand scheme of things.

It's not worth attacking this man over an endorsement, I think.

However, for those who want more background than the fragment you gleaned from the Wikipedia article, here is the link:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Foxx
Here's some other context from that link:

President Obama said April 29, 2013, that he would nominate Foxx to be the Secretary of Transportation. On June 27, 2013, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Foxx to the Secretary of Transportation by a vote of 100-0.[10] Foxx resigned from his elected position as mayor to accept the federal appointment.[19] He announced his transportation priorities on 15 January 2014 at the 93rd Annual Transportation Research Board Chairman’s Luncheon in Washington, DC.[20]

On September 12, 2014, Foxx announced 72 projects that were going to receive Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grants to help fund rapid transit projects.[21]

On September 16, 2014, Foxx gave the keynote address at a rail signing ceremony in Detroit's Grand Circus Park, which will be a terminus of the new Detroit Streetcar route.[22][23][24][25][26]

Foxx was the designated survivor for the 2015 State of the Union Address on January 20, 2015.[27][28]

July 14, 2015, Foxx assumed the keynote speaker during the inaugural ride of the Charlotte, NC streetcar. This was a $37 million transportation project he supported while holding office as the Mayor of Charlotte prior to his appointment of Secretary of Transportation.

What do you think of where her campaign takes its money, and what is their relation to who gets to write the policy in a Clinton administration?

....NOT the incumbent Transport Secretary!!!!!

We might as well give up our vision for an equitable, free, non-WAR America.
Ain't gonna happen now that we've lost the Transport Secretary.
....What was his name again?
I was really counting on him.

think the same? Because there are also minorities, including big-name endorsers if they are to count, who are not on the HRC bandwagon. Funny that. Maybe each and every one will have to make one's mind for oneself. In the loneliness of the voting booth.

And tell us again about Foxx's career as a "business litigator."
