OREGON: Obama +9 in SurveyUSA poll

Tuesday, September 18

SurveyUSA - Obama +9

Obama - 50

Romney - 41

Obama's +9 lead in Oregon is more than double the +4 lead he had in the previous SurveyUSA poll, but for some reason it's still several points below his 16-point margin in 2008.

(Although I notice at the link that Kerry only won Oregon by 4 points, so I suppose it's still a solid number).

I guess I expected it to be closer to 2008 levels in this state since many of the other polls I've been posting for other states have had comparable numbers to 2008.

so the lead will be larger. Not many political commercials here yet either. Too soon.
