Scott Van Duzer donation detailsLast edited Mon Sep 10, 2012, 07:16 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2)
cross-posted at Dailykos
I live 6 states away, so unfortunately, I can't enjoy one of Scott's pizzas, but I called and asked them to send a large pepperoni to the local volunteer fire department. They had several, so I told them to pick one and call me back with the address. The total came to $14.22. You guys, the kid on the phone told me they ARE under attack and he thanked me profusely for my business. If you can, please call and order something from these folks. There are numerous Fire Departments in their delivery area, as well as police departments. Look up and see if there are any senior centers, YMCAs, Blood drive centers, etc. The key is to support this man's business and I say we try to keep this up until the storm dies. Maybe a week or so. Big Apple Pizza 2311 S 35th St Fort Pierce, FL 34981 (772) 466-8303 Mon-Sun 10:30 am - 10 pm Thanks to DU member Patiod for Obama's Headquarters near Big Apple Fort Pierce Office 300 South US Hwy 1 Fort Pierce FL 34950 (305) 781-9641 http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/09/10/1130051/-UNDER-ATTACK-SUPPORT-BIG-APPLE-PIZZA-ORDER-A-PIE

14. This may be out of their delivery area.
|
But would there be a local Ronald McDonald House? Or a Children's Hospital? Not all of the kids could eat pizza, but some could, as well as their families and the staff.
Just a thought. |

they help one family a month through all kinds of tragedies. Might be the best way for us out of towners to help.

|
I think they could be easily overwhelmed with pizza orders, but donations to the foundation with a message of support would do wonders, too.

23. Tomorrow I will give them a call and give them some business
|
We can't let businesses have issues because they have an opinion. I don't see dems making a group effort to take out businesses that support Rmoney. I love the "Freedom" crowd....it's free if you think like me...doesn't that kinda go against the whole "FREEDOM" thing.
