Related: About this forumSplit Households Between Clinton and Sanders
I'm not intending to start a debate between the supporters of Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders, I'm just curious as to how many of my DU friends live in a family that are split in their support, or know people that are. That is the case in my household now. I am leaning toward Bernie Sanders, but my parents are supporting Hillary Clinton. Even the difference in support, there isn't much debate in my household though.

(20,709 posts)Even people who I thought would support him are supporting Clinton instead, primarily due to electability, gun control, or a combination.
As for the "not interested" people, if Trump wins the GOP nomination they will be voting for the Democratic nominee.

(28,270 posts)I'm for Hillary.
But we both agree that we will be voting for the democratic nominee of the party in the general.
We may have a temporary difference of opinion but we are not idiots.
