Clinton, Sanders, O'Malley head to New Hampshire.
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- All three Democratic presidential candidates are seeking to woo more than 1,000 New Hampshire Democrats at the state party's annual dinner.
Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley will all deliver remarks Sunday at the party's dinner in Manchester. The dinner typically serves as an opportunity for the state party to rally Democrats and raise money. This year, it gives the candidates a chance to share their message with active Democrats whose support could help them in the February primary.
Most preference polls show Clinton and Sanders locked in a competitive primary battle here, and O'Malley is still hoping to gain new support among New Hampshire voters. O'Malley headlined the dinner in 2014, and former President Bill Clinton spoke in 2015.
