5. I think "we" have been quieter this year, ergo the media spin about

loss of enthusiasm; but we're just getting an inkling of the unbelievable noise that will be heard round the world at the DNC convention starting tomorrow. It's going to be a thing of beauty. The donation numbers don't lie. We're still here. We're still voting.

8. Definitely. And my kid told me Thursday how many young people he knows are voting for Obama.

What was a little bit of a bummer is some of the older people I know who are sad because of the propaganda. They feel very depressed because so many voices say it's no use.

They have forgotten what they have to be grateful for and don't believe that the New Deal can be destroyed. So I tell them all the things that being done by the baggers and they are frightened.

They didn't see the circus in Tampa, they don't keep up because at a certain point, one just feels helpless, I guess. All they hear is the meme that it's no use, like here sometimes.

But they're voting as if their lives and the lives of their loved ones depend on it. Which is true, but the media has really been bad.
