Why isn't Hilary attend the DNC

Why isn't Hilary invited to attend and speak. This is a disapontment for the potential 2016 Presidential candidate not to be there. What is the issue that she has to be somewhere else. I don't like it one bit.

1. I don't think she is allowed to attend

2. She is the Secretary of State

Her position requires her to refrain from participating in partisan political events like conventions. She represents the United States of America not the Democratic Party.

3. Not sure Ms. Clinton is the best

Candidate.

The Repubs seem to hate her more than they supposedly hate Bealzebub.

4. I think it's because she is Sec of State...

and although everyone knows she a Dem, she probably wants to stay out of the political fray. But would love to see her give a speech...she'd teach Rmoney and Ryan a bit about foreign policy.

5. As Secretary of State, her role makes it difficult to campaign for a sitting President.

6. The Secretary of State stays away from political events.

Has nothing to do with her in particular - that's just the way it is for all Cabinet officers. They are supposed to stay out of partisan politics.

8. Plus, IIRC, she has expressed a desire to retire from politics.

That leaves her out in 2016.

But I am sure that won't stop parts of DU from blathering about Hillary in 2016 ad nauseum in spite of her expressed intentions.

Sorry, my friend. Maybe it's time to embrace the horror of no Hillary in 2016.

Or, better yet, let 2016 rest for a couple of years. Instead, there seems to be a more pressing and proximate election.
