Delbert & Jim Bob review Eastwood's RNC performance

I found this on my hometown paper's website. Written by an apparently former Clint Eastwood fan, it reads like the world's tackiest movie review.

"This was the Big Convention Surprise? An old man arguing with a chair? Well, it could have been worse-- it could have been Trump.

But we were thankfully spared The Donald...and The Hair. This was all about The Good, The Bad, and The Romney. I'm sure Clint made their day, but he will be unforgiven for sanctioning this breezy magnum farce. There's no true crime in being a space cowboy and endorsing the million dollar baby for a fistful of dollars. Mitt Romney needs his help to get elected, any which way he can? Fine-- but he sure didn't have much sudden impact.

He's quite a bird....waving the flag of our fathers in the hope of giving a changeling absolute power. In a perfect world, he'd be walking a tightrope over a mystic river; one slip and he'd be neck deep in a dead pool. Hereafter, he should only give political speeches at midnight in the garden of good and evil, and try to stay out of the line of fire. He's not exactly a rookie; surely he doesn't need a few dollars more. He must have been beguiled by the city heat."

I give it a small 'c' for cleverness.
