Obama +1 in Gallup tracking poll now

Obama (47) Romney (46)

Gallup is a 7 day rolling average as opposed to Rasmussen's 3 day rolling average. So it's less volatile and changes are slower to appear, if they appear at all.

National race is still a dead heat. But I view this as positive for Obama.

Anyone know when Obama was last ahead in Gallup? It's been at least a couple of weeks as far as I know.

This has been one of the better pollsters for Romney so far this year, so it's interesting that it's finally shown a lead for Obama.
