yes on the first one and yes on the second.

Wives are chattel after all and any unwanted pregnancies can be spirited away if you have enough money and connections.

Rape and abortion are for the common folk.

divorced him that he regularly sodomized her and often when she was asleep. Don't remember which one it is, but a lot of religious nuts and Republicans have a weird notion of what a wife's duties are when in comes to marital relations. It seems forcing your wife to have sex with you is not considered rape by them.

I am convinced that some of these guys are homosexuals in the closet who really hate women. They get married for cover but they really don't like women.

Anybody else remember Newt saying that women can't stay in a combat trench for a month, because they get "infections"?

Newt has been married to three different grown women, has presumably had intercourse with them, and he doesn't know what a menstrual period is???

It's still rape. There are no qualifiers other than situational (date rape for example) - but it's ALL rape. If a woman isn't willing and accepting, it's rape. Why the FUCK can't they get that through their thick skulls?

Men are generally not fearful for their wives - it is their daughters they are fearful for, because they feel helpless to protect them when they leave home. Speaking as a father of two daughters, I can tell you that I have a gut level reaction to Akin's crap and his defenders. Hard to measure how that plays out with male voters nation wide, but I am convinced it will. Ryan is tied to this crap no matter how hard he tries to weasel out of it. He cosponsored legislation with Akin redefining rape as "forcible" rape.

Forcing a child on someone to keep a situation where the woman is in need and unable to support themselves alone.

Wouldn't be surprised if some of them did that to their girlfriends or someone else so that they could have them.

Sometimes Republicans really are like Taliban in regards to their view on women. We are appalled that young women are forced to marry their rapists, but the way they are talking nowadays you can see how close they are to that.

It is disgusting.

Probably would find it a noble thing, raising a rapist's child.
