Well the majority of primary voters are women as she's said before if anyone want to accuse me of pandering to woman QUOTE eal me in I'm pretty sure her campaign has done extensive polling on this and that's why she keeps saying it.That's my observation

Republican women have a woman to vote for, too

Jill Stein for the Greens.

Being a woman candidate for president isn't singular anymore.

Women are oppressed no matter what socio-economic class we're in and I think it serves society well to have equal representation.

You know this is special because there are 3 female candidates representing three parties.

And the minority candidates are all Republicans.

Pretty interesting make up of the candidates.

I don't need to be told that, or reminded. I don't think that being a woman has much to do with anything other than a first and as such doesn't need to be brought into a debate.

No 'should' required. If she is elected president then I'll be glad we finally elected a woman, as an aside.

Me, I find it truthful, and I do think it is important a woman achieve the highest office. Not any woman, mind you. But Hillary, yes.

I think the first black president meant something very significant, as well as I think the first woman president would too.

People were very proud of that. What?? women can't be proud of other women, it's insulting when they are?

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

No, that is pretty much an accusation. Who does she think she is fooling? Vile stuff, to call another woman an anti-feminist.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Wed Oct 14, 2015, 10:22 AM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: It is a thinly veiled personal attack. Very easy fix = dpn't get personal. The person you were responding to was talking about a political candidate and YOU made it about the DU'er. See how easy it is to understand?
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I'm still trying to figure out why this alert was EVER sent.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Not really. We've had more than a few people on this site who are female and consider themselves "anti-feminist". Even if it was an accusation, it's tame compared to what "the community" has let stand in the past, so...*shrugs*
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT

As Mediaite notes, Fiorina’s lead has all but evaporated. She’s at six percent right now, according to a CBS poll, sitting in slumped over crinkled business-suited misery next to Jeb Bush.

I guess her being for a woman's right to not choose isn't helping her.

My argument isn't for Carly, it is that there are 3 women and the fact they are women isn't novel. There are 3 of them.

Hillary needs to convince the nonh supporters with policy instead of gender.

Those who are going to vote for any of the three women because they are the type of woman they admire are already in their columns.

The rest of us who care about other things don't really want to hear that refrain, it reminds us of the sad back stories on Idol or SYTYCD and we start to cringe every time it is brought up. We want to vote on a candidate on merit.

We are so far from equal representation it is unreal. How are women's right currently doing under control of the good ole boys club? Sexist comments left and right hurled at Clinton. Still questions if a woman can do the job. Speak it as often as possible Clinton. As often as possible.

What would the republican and democratic debate stages look like if all men were removed?

...this is a dirt-dumb criticism. More than that, it's sophistry. Where does Wilder get off reducing her presidential bid to playing the 'gender card' (whatever that means)? This is exactly the same criticism Wilder and other black leaders receive from the right when they speak out or act on issues of race.

Hillary's a woman and she'll be representing issues important to women from an experienced perspective. Wilder and others who find that objectionable will just have to deal with it.

OTOH, her campaign is pretty weak on the issues, so that horse will be beaten to death and then some.
