As I read post-debate analysis (and listen to CNN), I am keeping this in mind - the vested interest

The media is pretty clearly not only part of the problem, but part of the 1% - they want a great story, drama - but status quo, too - anything that keeps the eyeballs on their sites, and especially, the money in their pocket.

I am seeing that played out in the distinction between lots of polls (which put Sanders in a slight to clear lead), and big media splashes (which has Hillary as a slam dunk).

Interesting. Very, very interesting to watch. And always important to remember!

I didn't rush to vote in an internet poll.
They only measure those who bother to vote in them

"Surprise Threat" ... Honestly... This, after showing Clinton as "The Front Runner". Before the debate ran, regardless of the crowds that have responded to Sanders across the country.

It was so contrived by the media, in this case, CNN.

best they can.

Hopefully, they won't be too successful, and they'll be widely and loudly mocked for their efforts.

but when they ask people (focus groups, polls, etc) Bernie comes out ahead.

I think it highlights just how out of touch the media pundits re with the sentiment on the ground.

then there are those who tend to resonate in a more authoritarian world. The Snowden answer really showed a schism there.
