2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumFirst day volunteering for the campaign - I registered 5 people to vote (Virginia)
It was just like jumping back on the horse - the nerve and the thick skin were back.
I hit a Richmond city park:
The first person I talked to BAM! registration.
Two guys sweating it out on a work crew.
Me (to the boss), "Do you mind if I see if your guys are registered to vote?"
The boss "Hey you guys registered for Obama?"
two guys said they weren't sure so I sat down on the curb and filled out the registration form for them while they worked.
One guy in the dog park.
One kid moving into a new apartment near VCU.
I also went to the west end office mainly just to see where it was but also to meet the staff.
This operation is HUMMING ALONG once again.
