Pro-Obama crowd greets Romney during Poland trip

Romney arrived at Gdansk‘s city hall and briefly chatted with locals before meeting with Tusk. A group was heard chanting, "Obama! Obama!" as Romney later made his way to his next meeting with anti-communist icon Lech Walesa, the former leader of Solidarity.

...Without any mention of the fact that Lech and the Solidarity Movement were both further to the left than the Soviet communists ever were, of course. Which is why the Soviets considered the movement a threat, because its socialist principles and credentials were stronger than those espoused by The Party.
