(Reuters) - Attorneys for Texas on Thursday cited the appearance of former President George W. Bush's name on a list of Texas residents who would supposedly be ineligible to vote in the state under a law requiring voters to show photo identification as evidence a Harvard University study of the measure was deeply flawed.

If he doesn't have a driver's license, it is probably because Laura won't let him have one.

He had to get a passport when he was President. That should still be valid. If not, it is easily renewed in time for the election.

Probably somebody trying to make a funny.

A Harvard professor put together a list of people thought to be unlikely and GWB's name is on it.

The State of Texas is using this list to show that charges by those opposed to the law are wildly inaccurate, so the report hurts us not helps us.

He and Laura got new drivers licenses with new numbers. Since all driving records in Texas are tied to the DL# this is thought to have covered a multitude of sins. Without knowing the original DL#s there is no way to pull them up.
